Award Information
Colorado Foothills Soccer Club assesses a range of attributes when selecting the Player of the Month. While qualities such as individual performance, technical proficiency, team success, and hard work are essential, we also emphasize qualities like resilience, a positive attitude, communication, consistency, leadership, self-belief and self-motivation.

February 2025
Nowen
After a coaching change, fate intervened and brought Nowen onto my rec team. His previous coach had moved to another town, leaving his parents in search of a new team. His parents reached out to other friends for recommendations, and to my delight, they chose my team for Nowen. It was a wonderful twist of luck for both my son and me.
January 2025
Clark
Clark has been playing soccer for several years, and I’ve had the privilege of coaching him throughout much of that time. Each season, he has shown remarkable growth. His hustle on the field is unmatched, and his ability to listen and execute instructions is truly impressive.
December 2024
Kenny
I first became aware of Kenny during a game he had just played in. His athleticism and ability to read the field were evident right away. Interestingly, I had to rearrange some games and spoke with his coach about it. We were shifting things around due to an upcoming tournament, and as luck would have it, Kenny was able to join us.

Jackson
When I began coaching Jackson, it was clear right away that he was a fiercely competitive player. His leg strength during kicks is truly impressive and watching him control the ball while fending off defenders is a sight to behold. I genuinely believe that Jackson has a bright future in soccer. He’s incredibly open to feedback and improvement, and it’s rewarding to witness his ongoing development in the sport!

Wesley
I first noticed Wesley’s talent while coaching another team. He was on a younger squad, and during our scrimmage, his skill and dedication were immediately evident. Wesley plays for the Colorado Foothills SC U12 team and has had an outstanding run in the last three tournaments. He’s versatile and can take on any position on the field, significantly contributing to his team’s scoring opportunities.

Robbie
Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching Robbie, and it has truly been a rewarding experience. Watching him grow into a technically skilled soccer player and a remarkable young individual has brought me immense joy. Robbie’s versatility on the field is impressive; he can excel in any position, and his calm attitude makes coaching him a true delight.

Owen
Owen is an outstanding athlete with an incredible work ethic and impressive technical skills that surpass his age. I have had the privilege of coaching him for over a year, and he continually amazes me with his ability to excel in any position on the field.
